Sally
Berner, a native of Kewaunee, Wisconsin, has been an active painter
for over 15 years creating oil paintings in the Realist tradition. Her
love of animals and nature has led her to concentrate on Wildlife Art
and commissions of household pets, especially dogs. Highlights include
a 1997 intensive workshop with Robert Bateman in Grand Teton National
Park and, in 2000, a workshop with Carl Brenders in Montana. She also
has completed workshops with a variety of well known Door County artists
through the Peninsula Art School and finds art is a never-ending quest
for knowledge.
