“I consider myself to be a realist and I like to work with nature themes. Nature offers the opportunity for experimentation and improvisation, although faithfulness to the subject matter in a formal landscape is a primary concern. My main interests currently are landscapes as well as the human figure and occasionally animals. I find the colours, patterns and forms found in nature to be and endless source of fascination and inspiration for me. It is often difficult finding appropriate places and subject matter, however, as these things often come up completely by accident. Nature is highly unpredictable. I enjoy working in a variety of media, including oil, acrylic, tempera and watercolour. I am interested in landscapes, wildlife and domestic animals, environmental as well as human issues.” His work hangs in private collections in Canada, Britain, and the United States. Exhibitions:
